Our craft this month included a quilt square that will be part of the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America Quilt to Remember and compass.

I have been searching for ways to volunteer with my children. It’s hard to find volunteer work that allows small children to join in. Though we will not leave the house to participate, I was pleased to discover Little Loving Hands.
Each month a craft is shipped to your home with pre-paid postage to return your finished craft to various charitable organizations. All crafting supplies are included. Small children will need some help completing the projects, but we enjoyed doing it together on Thanksgiving day.
This would make an excellent gift. It’s fun and gives you a chance to talk about others in need. They have sent craft boxes for the Ronald McDonald House, children with cancer, the homeless, and the poor worldwide. One thing I tell my children regularly is that we are so fortunate that it is our responsibility to help others.
